How and when do I pay?

Payment happens upon drop off.

Who picks up my clothes?

One of our friendly Washr Wizards will come and pick up your precious threads once your order has been approved. All of our wizards are background checked to insure a safe and sound wash. We will arrive with plenty of laundry bags for you to dispose of your dirty laundry with our personal stamp of approval.

Where and when will my clothes be returned to me?

Most orders can be returned within 24 hours. Orders processed on Saturdays will only be returned back on Monday.

Please note that Dry Cleaning orders will take longer than 24 hours due to the cleaning process that they require. We are also able to hold your clothes for a little while longer if you wish.

Who will wash my clothes?

Washr works with only the best professional cleaners in Cape Town. All of our cleaners are eco-friendly, have over ten years of experience and quality is always guaranteed. Your clothes are safe with us.

Do i need to be home for the pick up?

No, you don't need to. You can leave your clothing at reception or with the security guard in your building and let them know that Washr is coming.p

If you will not be present at pickup, please make sure to let us know when placing the order using the 'Extra Info' box.

How long will it take for my order to be approved?

Usually orders are approved within 30 minutes but could take up to 2 hours. Remember that we will be able to approve your order from 7AM to 8PM, seven days a week.

As soon as your order is confirmed, we will notify you by email.

What happens if my order is running behind schedule?

Of Course we do try our absolute best to stick to the selected timeslot you have selected but sometimes there are some unexpected delays that are out of our control such as traffic jams and car troubles. In cases like this we will let you know we are running a little behind schedule and if need be we will reschedule your order for you to a time that suites you free of charge.

What should i do if i’m having technical issues?

We have our technical team working tirelessly on our Washr software around the clock, but if you are experiencing a technical issue please do not hesitate to email care@washr.co.za and we will have reply in to time.

What about all of my special instructions

If you have any additional special requests or instructions please could you let us know within the 'Extra Info' form in your order form, your clothing is precious to us!

Should i tip my washr wizard?

You are welcome to give your wizard a tip if your heart desires.

Is there a minimum order fee?

Our minimum order fee is R140, that is the equivalent of a 5kg load of Wash & Fold.

What if i miss my pickup or dropoff?

This is fully understandable and happens to the best of us but you will please need to let us know in advance that you will be running late and we will be able to adjust your pickup or drop off time to a time that is convenient. If this not does not happen and the driver rocks up within the hour time slot and we are not able to contact you there will be a small fee of R30 charged to you.

Are there certain materials you can’t process?

Yes there is the odd material which we do not like to undertake such as delicate leather items which only specialized companies are able to deal with but there is still a huge risk in dealing with these items. We are also unable to clean any curtains that have a rubberized back as this would require a steam clean and we are not currently offering that service.

What about those stains that will just not go away?

We make it our absolute priority to remove all stains that are found on your clothing but unfortunately some stains have become part of the fabric and are permanent. We will try more than once to remove it but constant attempts at working on the same spot can often lead to the garment fading or being destroyed.

Can washr air dry/hang dry my clothing?

We are able to air dry your clothing only if you specify this in the 'Extra Info' box within your order form but please keep in mind this process will take longer than 24 hours due to the drying process and we are not big fans of handing back damp clothing to our valued client such as yourself.

When are you opening in Johannesburg?

Washr is about to open in Johannesburg very soon. We will start to offer laundry services in Johannesburg in early 2017.
